If you connect to a live stream and the chat does not appear, you may not have been fully connected to the chat servers. Usually, if you see the Welcome <Username> message, you will connect normally to the chat servers. If the occasion arises where you are not fully connected to the chat servers, try the following troubleshooting tips in attempts to remedy the issue:
- Verify that your internet connection is working - using either Wi-Fi or cellular data
- Leave the stream, and attempt to join again
- Close the Livestar app completely, restart the app, and attempt to join again
These steps can be repeated until your device connects to our servers and the chat works successfully.
